If you make an enquiry, FutureKode may collect your name, email address, business name and the information you include in your message. This is used to respond, discuss services and keep an appropriate record of the conversation.
The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and, where appropriate, FutureKode’s legitimate interest in managing business enquiries and client relationships.
FutureKode occasionally contacts selected limited companies and other corporate organisations where their publicly available website suggests that web-design or related services may be relevant.
The information recorded may include the organisation’s name, website, published business email address, a business contact’s name where relevant, company status, research notes, contact dates, replies and opt-out status. It is obtained from public business sources such as the organisation’s website, Google business listings, Companies House and reputable business directories.
The purpose is targeted business development. The lawful basis is FutureKode’s legitimate interest in promoting relevant services to corporate business contacts. FutureKode limits this activity to proportionate, individually reviewed messages and does not use purchased mailing lists or automated bulk-email lists.
You can object at any time by replying to an email or contacting mark@futurekode.co.uk. Marketing contact will stop and the minimum information needed to respect the opt-out will be retained on a suppression list.
Unsuccessful outreach records are normally reviewed and deleted or anonymised within 24 months. Enquiry and client records are kept only as long as reasonably required for the relationship and any legal, tax or contractual obligations. Suppression records are retained for as long as necessary to ensure that an opt-out is respected.
FutureKode uses carefully selected providers for website hosting, email and enquiry-form delivery. These providers process information only to supply those services. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where this happens, FutureKode relies on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.
Information is not sold. It is disclosed only where needed to operate the business, with your instruction, or where required by law.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer. You also have an absolute right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.
To exercise a right, email mark@futurekode.co.uk. FutureKode may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Please contact FutureKode first so any concern can be addressed. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
This notice may be updated when FutureKode’s services or use of information changes. The latest version will always be published on this page.
